Wheelchair Access Works Differently in the Water Rooms
teamLab Planets does accommodate wheelchair users, but not by simply rolling your own chair through. Staff transfer you to the facility's own wheelchair at entry (a standard model with no special fixtures), or you can use your own chair if you attach tire covers first. For the water-based rooms specifically, there are separate wheelchairs designed for wet conditions. The one exception is the "Waterfall of Light Particles at the Top of an Incline" installation, which isn't accessible by wheelchair for safety reasons regardless of which chair you're using. Staff will walk you through the available routes and any workarounds before you start.
You Can Reschedule Up to Three Times, But There's No Refund
Once you've bought a ticket, it's non-refundable, full stop. What you can do instead is change the date and time, as long as you do it at least 2 hours before your original admission time. Tickets bought directly through the official ticket store can be rescheduled up to three times this way, and if the new date has a different price, you're only charged or refunded the difference. Worth knowing: the time on your ticket is your admission time, and you get a 30-minute window from that point to queue up and get in, so it's less rigid than a strict minute-by-minute entry but still not open-ended.
Photography for personal use is fine throughout, just leave the flash and tripod at home since both are prohibited to keep the rooms from becoming a bottleneck for other visitors.
