Legal Disclaimer and Affiliate Disclosure Information

What is Japan Activity Guide?

Japan Activity Guide is an information and curation platform for travel experiences in Japan. We provide comprehensive guides, recommendations, and information about activities and attractions in Japan.

We are NOT a booking platform, travel agent, or tour operator. We do not sell tickets, tours, or experiences directly. We do not handle payments, reservations, or customer service for bookings.

Affiliate Relationships

Japan Activity Guide participates in affiliate programs with the following travel booking platforms:

• GetYourGuide
• Viator (owned by TripAdvisor)
• Tiqets
• Headout
• Klook

When you click on a "Book Now" or booking link and make a purchase on one of these platforms, Japan Activity Guide earns a commission. This comes at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price whether you book through our link or go directly to the platform.

How We Make Money

Japan Activity Guide generates revenue exclusively through affiliate commissions. When users book experiences through our partner links, we receive a small percentage of the booking value. This commission structure allows us to:

• Provide our service completely free to users
• Maintain and improve our website
• Create high-quality travel content and Japan guides
• Research and recommend the best experiences in Japan

Our Commitment to You

While we earn commissions from affiliate links, we are committed to:

• Honest recommendations: We only recommend experiences and platforms we believe offer value to travelers
• Transparency: We clearly disclose our affiliate relationships
• Quality curation: Our content is based on research, not just commission rates
• Accurate information: We strive to provide reliable, up-to-date Japan travel information

No Direct Transactions

Japan Activity Guide does not:

• Process payments or handle financial transactions
• Sell tickets, tours, or travel services directly
• Control pricing, availability, or booking policies
• Provide customer service for bookings (contact the booking platform)
• Act as a travel agent or tour operator

All bookings, payments, customer service, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the respective booking platform (GetYourGuide, Viator, Tiqets, Headout, or Klook).

Information Accuracy

While we make every effort to provide accurate information, Japan Activity Guide does not guarantee:

• Current prices (prices shown are indicative and may change)
• Availability of experiences
• Specific booking terms or conditions

Always verify details on the booking platform before purchasing. The booking platform's information supersedes any information on Japan Activity Guide.

Third-Party Responsibility

When you book through our affiliate links:

• Your contract is with the booking platform, not Japan Activity Guide
• The booking platform is responsible for fulfilling your order
• Customer service and support are provided by the booking platform
• The booking platform's terms and conditions apply to your purchase
